ABOUT
Wild Space is run and managed by James Millard. With over fifteen years of experience working in the industry, James is a qualified Sustainable Carpenter and Joiner completing a full apprenticeship with the sustainable carpentry company Umbazi.
At Umbazi he worked on some interesting and revolutionary building projects. Including full construction of ‘Edge ‘of cliff’ a fully sustainable passive house, located 3km down the South West Coast path perched on the edge of a cliff. This was no easy build as all materials had to carried to site by hand.
Other projects with Umbazi include the renovation of Hellesveor Farm and campsite working closely with architects Arco2 making renovation sustainable and creating a new kind of toilet and shower block.
James is personable and creative, with a passion for fulfilling your vision. He and his team are timely, respectful and responsive to your needs.
